Training opportunities

The CIEE offers two main types of training opportunities. One is through the hosting and financial support of working groups and the other is through the training and certification of graduate students in Data Management and Reproducible Research, and Synthetic and Collaborative Science.

Examples of past workshops

R WORKSHOP AT GENOMES TO BIOMES MEETING
Fifty-two graduate students and academics from 23 universities and institutions across Canada participated in the R workshop held at the Genomes to/aux Biomes meeting Montreal on 25 May, 2014.
STABLE ISOTOPE ECOLOGY COURSE
Bjoern Wissel teaches 12 graduate students from across North America, during a week-long “Stable Isotope Ecology” course at the University of Regina. CIEE has co-funded this course several times.
